Chandrashila

Chandrashila is summit of the Tungnath. It literally means Moon Rock. It is located at a height of about 4,000 metres (13,123 ft) above sea level. It is an impressive vantage point that offers 360 degrees panoramic views of the mighty Himalayas.

Dayara Bugyal

Dayara Bugyal, in Uttarkashi district, meaning "high altitude meadow”. The beautiful meadows are developed into ski slopes covering an area of 28 square kilometers. It has also been planned as a skiing resort. The panoramic view of the Himalayas from here is breathtaking.

Dodital

Dodital is a freshwater lake in Uttarakhand, India. This is a mostly gentle trek, with overnight halt options at the village of Agora or Bebra. According to one of the popular legends Lord Ganesha chose this place as his abode.

Gaumukh-Tapovan

Gomukh, the terminus or snout of the Gangotri Glacier, from where Bhagirathi River originates, is one of the primary sources of the Ganges River. The most well known Tapovan in India is the area above the Gangotri Glacier. Tapovan area is base camp for several mountaineering expeditions.

Har-Ki-Dun Valley

Har Ki Doon Valley is a cradle shaped hanging valley in the Garhwal Himalayas. It is surrounded by snow-covered peaks and alpine vegetation. It is connected to Baspa Valley by the Borasu (Bara-su) Pass. This valley is above mean sea level and is snow-covered during December to March.
